

BIOGRAPHY
Scott has litigated catastrophic injury, insurance coverage and commercial cases throughout the United States and has done so for 24 years. He also serves as national counsel for numerous domestic and foreign insurers. He is frequently invited to speak before industry groups and companies in his areas of expertise, and he carries Martindale-Hubbell's top "AV" rating.
After graduating magna cum laude from Louisiana Tech University in 1987, Scott attended the University of Florida College of Law where he received his Juris Doctor with honors in 1994. He has practiced in Atlanta for his entire career and formed McMickle, Kurey & Branch LLP 8 years ago to provide effective and personal service to his valued clients who will gladly give recommendations for Scott upon your request.
Scott is currently an active member of the British American Business Group, Order of Barristers, Trucking Industry Defense Association, Conference of Freight Counsel, Transportation Lawyers Association, Transportation Loss Prevention and Security Council, the State Bar of Georgia and the Loss Prevention Conference - Southern Motor Carriers where he is a former president. He and his wife Lara have three children, and they attend First Baptist Church Woodstock. His is also a board member at the Fellowship Christian School where his three (3) children either attend or have graduated.
